Things move on.

By now the Nikon D50 is history, I offered it for sale on EBay and was offered a quick sale deal by a genuine buyer who was moving from film to digital. So that great little camera is now in good hands. The D80 is mated almost constantly to Nikon’s 70-300 VR ED lens which is perfection for spotting photography as Vibration Reduction is a superb technology (like Canon’s IS but better!)

My next lens purchase will be the Nikon 24-120 VR or the 18-200 VR. The gallery shot Southside on the 16th of February is definitely one of the highlights of my hobby so far
